Do you have a Starflex box and your engine starts poorly when cold? This foolproofing device may be the solution.
Some engines have a reputation for poor cold starting and adding the injection time sent by the Starflex box is insufficient. The temperature foolproofer will modify the engine temperature information sent to the ECU which will increase its flow to the injectors.
Our foolproofing device is equipped with a component that will cancel the modification as soon as its temperature reaches between 20° and 25°.
It attaches to the heater hose that runs from the engine outlet to the dashboard.
Attention:
Works only on 2-pin temperature probes, check before that there are only 2 wires arriving at your temperature probe.
The foolproofing device will not be the solution if your engine has any fault linked to wear (spark plugs, TDC sensor, compression and others...) and if your ECU has detected one or more engine anomalies.
