Description

Changing the air intake temperature coupled with a change in the injection rail pressure can be an alternative to connecting to the injectors for direct injections.
Our 2.0 Wifi box works on a good number of direct injection engines but it can happen on certain engines that the ECU detects the modification made to the injectors, in this case you have the possibility of modifying the values emitted by the IAT and HPS probes to obtain the necessary enrichment when switching to E85.

Important: only works on IAT temperature probes with 2 wires (2 pin connector)

For indirect injection engines, changing the air intake temperature provides better cold starting as well as an additional range of enrichment so that the ECU does not reach its maximum injection correction tolerance to the E85, however our 2.0 Wifi box offers such adjustment possibilities for operation and cold starting when connected to the injectors that this option remains optional.

– The box offers 5 adjustment positions which go from 0 to 4. Depending on the ECU, an adjustment position that is too high can cause an engine fault, so you will have to find the right setting as explained in the assembly and adjustment instructions.
– 2 operating possibilities:
– Momentary: duration 3 min during startup
- Permanent
– Ability to modify 2 air intake temperature sensors provided options T1 and T3 are enabled.

The setting is only made on the PC application.
Verification of operation and parameters is done on the PC and Smartphone application.

Important: having not been able to test this operation on all existing engines, we are therefore not able to assure you that this type of modification is suitable for your engine, but we have not yet encountered any malfunctions to date.
